In July 2018, I was asked to translate some archival documents relating to a train derailment during the Second World War. This involved translating a number of press clippings, letters from government agencies, and handwritten notes.
While I do not usually translate into French, these documents were only going to be used to help the director of the mini-series Mystères des Lacs in his research, filming plan, and script writing, and were proofread by a French native speaker before delivery.
